Thanks to the support from our community and generous members, 2021 marks AHAM's 23rd consecutive year granting college scholarships. We are pleased to announce our scholarship award to eligible Hispanic high school seniors in the following counties of the Upstate: Abbeville, Anderson, Cherokee, Greenwood, Greenville, Laurens, Oconee, Pickens, Spartanburg, and Union. 

  •  Candidates must be of Hispanic origin or descent (from a Spanish speaking country, first generation)

  • Be in a public  high school Class of 2020

  • Have a GPA of 3.8 or higher

  •  Have a letter of Recommendation from the counselor of the school showing financial hardship and academic achievements. 

  • Applicants have received acceptance as a full time student at an accredited university, technical college or vocational school in the United States or USA territories for the fall 2021 semester

  • Candidate’s family must make $60,000 or less in household income based on their 2019/2020 tax return. If parents or legal guardians file taxes separately, please submit both federal income tax returns.

  • Include a copy of DACA certification, U.S. passport, green card, residency card, social security card, or driver’s license.
