AHAM Scholarship Requirements

 Candidates must:

  1. Be of Hispanic origin or descent (from a Spanish speaking country, first or second generation)

  2. Be a senior in a public or private high school in the Upstate counties of: Abbeville, Anderson, Cherokee, Greenwood, Greenville, Laurens, Oconee, Pickens, Spartanburg, and Union

  3. Have a GPA of 3.5 or higher

  4. Have received acceptance as a full time student at an accredited university, technical college or vocational school in the United States or USA territories

  5. Candidate’s family must make $60,000 or less in household income based on their previous  year's tax return. If parents or legal guardians file taxes separately, please submit both federal income tax returns.

  6. Include a copy of DACA certification, U.S. passport, green card, residency card, social security card, or driver’s 
    license.

2020 AHAM Scholarship Awards

1st Place | $10,000 over 4 years

1 student will be selected for this prize 4- year scholarship. The student awarded this prize will receive $2,500 for 4 consecutive years, for a total of $10,000.

2nd Place | $8,000 over 4 years

1 student will be selected for this prize 4- year scholarship. The student awarded this prize will receive $2,000 for 4 years consecutive years, for a total of $8,000.

3rd Place | $6,000 over 4 years

1 student will be selected for this prize 4- year scholarship. The student awarded this prize will receive $1,500 for 4 years consecutive years, for a total of $6,000.

4th Place | $2,000

1 students will be selected for this prize.

5th Place | $2,000

1 students will be selected for this prize.

6th Place | $1,500

2  students will be selected for this prize.

7th Place | $1,500

1 students will be selected for this prize.

8th Place | $1,000

1 students will be selected for this prize.
