AHAM Scholarship Requirements
Candidates must:

Be of Hispanic origin or descent (from a Spanish speaking country, first or second generation)

Be a senior in a public or private high school in the Upstate counties of: Abbeville, Anderson, Cherokee, Greenwood, Greenville, Laurens, Oconee, Pickens, Spartanburg, and Union

Official School Transcript GPA 3.0 (minimum)

Copy of household federal income tax return (1040ez) for the year 2022/2023. If parents or legal guardians file taxes separately, please submit both federal income tax returns. Family income not greater than $60,000.

Copy of letter of acceptance to university, technical college, or vocational school.

One of the following documents: DACA certification, U.S. Passport, Birth Certificate, Permanent Residency Card, Social Security Card, or Driver's License.

Two letters of Recommendation from either manager, professor, coach, counselor, neighbor, mentor etc. (no family members)

A TYPED essay (minimum 650 words) describing your goals for college, career interest and how your Spanish heritage has influenced your life. The essay must include clear and descriptive language, and should have a strong flow/connection.
*College Financial plan will be required if selected for interview*
