1. Applicants must be of Hispanic origin or descent (first- or second-generation from a Spanish-speaking Latin American country).

2. Must be currently enrolled as a senior in a public or private high school in one of the following Upstate SC counties: Abbeville, Anderson, Cherokee, Greenwood, Greenville, Laurens, Oconee, Pickens, Spartanburg, or Union.

3. Have an Official School Transcript indicating a minimum GPA of 3.5.

4. Provide a copy of their Household Federal Income Tax Return (1040EZ): Provide the 2025 tax year return. If parents or legal guardians file separately, both must file federal income tax returns. Total family income must not exceed $70,000.

5. Submit a letter of acceptance: a copy of your acceptance letter to a university, technical college, or vocational school.

6. Have proof of identity/residency: submit one of the following documents: DACA certification, U.S. Passport, Birth Certificate, Permanent Residency Card, Social Security Card, or Driver's License.

7. Provide two letters of recommendation from individuals such as a manager, professor, coach, counselor, neighbor, or mentor. (Recommendation letters from family members will not be accepted.)

8. Note: If selected for an interview, a college financial plan will be required.
